Egija Vilcāne
About me

I'm Egija Vilcāne, a counselling, clinical and health psychologist working under supervision.

In our sessions, I help people better understand themselves, their emotions, and their life circumstances.

My story

I've long been drawn to the diversity of human experience — how different people perceive similar situations, make decisions, and shape their own paths. This curiosity, and a desire to support others more deeply, led me to study psychology and pursue a career in this field.

My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, while keeping the whole person in view — their experiences, resources, and life context. I believe each person's journey is unique, and so the process is always tailored to individual needs and goals.

Outside of work, I'm a wife and mother. I find meaning in time with family, music, and nature. I enjoy exploring who I am and how the world works, and I'm always looking for balance between stillness and spontaneity.

I believe change begins when we feel truly heard and accepted. That's why I place great importance on building a compassionate, respectful relationship — one where you can explore what matters most to you.
